Background: The case should explain the relevant circumstances of the story: time, location, characters, cause of the event, etc. Theme: The case must have a theme. It is recommended to start the case from the most rewarding and enlightening prospective, and then choose and establish the theme. Context: Go through all the original materials of the case and select the targeted content. Results: The case should explain the teaching ideas, describe the teaching process, and explain the teaching outcome, that is, the immediate effect of such teaching measures, including students' reflections and teachers' feelings. Comment and analysis: The author must have certain opinions and analysis on the topics and content reflected in the case, including the teaching methodology, process, results, and its pros and cons. 2. Content Requirements The Chinese national flag, national anthem, national emblem, map, etc., should be used correctly in all case materials. For map usage, please do refer to "Standard Map Service System"; Please avoid comparisons involving ideological issues and national values; Please avoid the following content: Content that shows ugly behaviors, vulgar languages, or horrifying scenes; content that destroys the ecological environment, hunts and kills indiscriminately, or abuses animals; content that insults, slanders, derogates, or spoofs others; content that is not supportive to the positive development of children, such as smoking, alcoholism, fighting, drug abuse, or gambling, etc.; content that violates personal privacy; content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others; other content prohibited by the laws and regulations of China and the country where the teaching is located; content that involves major natural disasters, accidents, terrorist incidents, wars and other disaster scenes; content of trademarks or advertisements involving commercial value; countries in the world and religious taboo content. Production requirements: Cases are divided into two types: text cases (text/pictures/charts, etc.) and multimedia cases (video/audio, etc.). 1. Text case There is no intellectual error or typo; all pictures used are clear and without copyright issues. 2. Multimedia case File format: the video resolution is not less than 1920×1080 pixels; the video bit rate is not less than 8Mbps; the audio sampling rate is 48kHz; the video format is mp4 or mov; a single file size is less than 2G. Image quality: The image should have good lighting conditions, low noise, reasonable white balance, aperture, exposure compensation and other parameters; the lens should be stable without jitter; the image should be filmed with horizontal screen with accurate focus; audio and video should be well synchronized; teachers should dress-up appropriately; no logo should be showed in the image; no obvious clipping error should be found. Sound quality: The background should be quiet without echo; the sound has no obvious distortion; the sound volume is stable with no obvious noise; the accompanying sound is clear, full, and mellow; there is no obvious proportion between the character dialogue and the live sound; there is no obvious dis-proportionality between the character dialogue and the background music. Cover specification: 1. The picture should be clear 2. The cover image must be consistent with the content 3. Comply with relevant laws and regulations 4. The cover image is completely displayed 5. The size of the cover image is not more than 5M The selection of high-quality cases must meet the following content standards: 1. Concise topic selection: The topic shall be conducive to teaching. The selected topic should be closely linked to the syllabus, focusing on a certain knowledge point, teaching activities, cultural activities, etc.. The topic selection should be brief and clear. 2. Typical topic selection: the topic should be positioned accurately with features. The case should be designed around common, typical, and representative problems or content in daily teaching or learning. The case should effectively explain key language points, and solve difficult problems as well as doubts in teaching and learning practice. 3. Correct on knowledge: the knowledge points and grammatical points in the case are rigorously described; the text, symbols, units and formulas are in line with national standards and publication specifications; the work is free of copyright infringement and is not oriented to sensitive content; the national flag, national anthem, and national emblem are correctly used according to relevant regulations. Regarding to any map usage, please refer to "Standard Map Service System http://bzdt.ch.mnr.gov.cn". 4. Goal achievement: The case should be convenient for teachers to apply in teaching practice, with good versatility and strong interaction. It can effectively solve practical learning and teaching problems, efficiently achieve the teaching subjective, and support the development of learners' knowledge and ability. Video cases must also meet the following technical standards: 1. File format: the video resolution is not less than 1920×1080 pixels; the video bit rate is not less than 8Mbps; the audio sampling rate is 48kHz; the video format is mp4 or mov; a single file size is less than 2G. 2.
