Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) is a highly esteemed science and technology university, providing over 70 years of education to students in the capital of China. It also offers degrees in diverse areas such as business, the social science and humanities, law, design art, and foreign languages. BIT is organized into 19 schools, offering 64 undergraduate programs, 196 graduate programs, and 95 doctoral programs. In 2012, BIT entered the Top 100 Universities in Asia and the Top 500 World Universities according to the 2012 QS World University Ranking and ranked the 13th among all the listed 19 Chinese universities.
