Founded in 1896, Beijing Jiaotong University(a.k.a。 Northern Jiaotong University hereinafter referred to as BJTU) is a national key university under the direct administration of China’s Ministry of Education and is among the first universities qualified for doctorate and master’s degree conferral, listed in China’s “Project 211” and to accept students of Chinese Government Scholarship。 It leads in information and management disciplines and features traffic and transportation science and technology。 BJTU has 2,933 faculty members, including 1,768 teachers, among whom there are 407 professors and 691 associate professors。 At present, 14,009 undergraduates, 2,520 doctoral candidates and 7,690 master candidates study on campus。 With “Smile, Care, Quality and Pleasure” as the aim of its international education, BJTU offers preparatory, bachelor, master and doctoral programs in the fields of engineering, management, economy, science, arts, law, and philosophy。 It provides Chinese Government Scholarship, Confucius Institute Scholarship and Beijing Government Scholarship opportunities for international students。 BJTU welcomes students from all over the world.
