Founded in 1946, NENU is one of the key “211 Project” universities administrated by the Ministry of Education of China. NENU is located in Changchun, the “City of Eternal Spring”, whose enchanting landscape occupies a total area of 1,670,000 square meters. There are 25218 full-time students, including 14,719 undergraduates, 9,864 graduate students, and 635 international students. Currently, NENU has 23 schools(faculties), 68 bachelor’s degree programs, 34 first-class disciplines to award master’s degree and 109 first-class disciplines to award doctoral degree. This demonstrates a comprehensive discipline system covering all but Military Science and Medical Science. The three disciplines, namely History, Chinese and Biology, are national bases for talent cultivation and scientific research of basic disciplines in both arts and science. This demonstrates a 11 comprehensive discipline system covering all but Military Science and Medical Science.
