Liaoning Normal University (LNNU) is one of the key institutions of higher learning in Liaoning Province, located in Dalian, a beautiful coastal city in northern China. Liaoning Normal University was founded in 1951. The college insists on teaching Chinese with the aim of opening to the world, using Chinese as a means of putting up the bridges of friendship. Since the establishment in 1985 it has enrolled and trained more than 12,000 foreigners and overseas Chinese from more than 40 countries and regions. Upon completion of their studies, many of these students have gone on to careers in diplomacy, business, culture and many other spheres of life. Currently, more than 800 foreign students coming from 40 countries are studying at LNNU. More than 300 of them are studying at the master and bachelor level and more than 500 are at Chinese language learning at advanced, intermediate, elementary level.
